01 Where is the event location?

The event is taking place in North Concourse, Hall 1B&2A, Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), Expo 2020 Dubai. You can find a location map here.

02 How can I get there?

By metro
The best way to reach the Expo 2020 Dubai site is by Dubai Metro. Visitors can arrive to the Dubai Expo 2020 station and walk (5 minutes) to the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) from there. Please check the RTA website for the latest information and possible changes to the operating timing schedule on https://www rta ae/wps/portal/rt&ae/public-transport or call the RTA call centre on +971800 9090.

By taxi and e—hail (Careem and Uber)
Taxis and other driver services can take you to the Expo 2020 Dubai site, and you can walk to the venue from the drop off point. Please be aware that taxis are in high demand and may result in long waiting times for your return journey.

By car
Parking will be open to Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) guests during event time, on a first-come, first-serve basis. The parking is approximately a 700-metre walk to the halls. Valet parking is available, and the cost is AED 95 per car per service.

 

03 Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a PCR test to enter the site?

As part of a comprehensive COVID-19 risk management plan, all visitors and delegates aged 18 and above are required to present a proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours.

04 What COVID-19 health and safety measures are in place?

We want to make sure that your visit is both enjoyable and safe. To ensure this, health and safety measures will be fully implemented across the Expo 2020 Dubai site. Please read about them here.

05 What should I wear when I visit the event?

The UAE’s sunny climate means that lightweight clothing is suitable to wear throughout the year. However, slightly warmer attire may be needed during winter or in a place with powerful air conditioning. When out in public, dress codes are generally relaxed, but it is still a good idea to respect the local culture. The event dress code is smart casual.

06 What accessibility features are available for people of determination?

Expo 2020 Dubai has considered a wide range of measures to ensure an accessible event for everyone. A variety of services will be offered on-site, including rentals of wheelchairs and electric convenience vehicles. For more information click here. Within the Al Burda Festival, all areas will be wheelchair accessible. Should you have any specific requirements, please contact alburda@hqws.com with your request.

07 How can I register to the event?

We strongly recommend that all attendees pre-register for the event online via the following link. Bring your confirmation with you to access the DEC at the Expo 2020 Dubai site. There will be limited on-site registration available, however, to avoid disruption, queuing, and extensive security checks, please pre-register online.

08 Can I register on-site?

It is recommended that all visitors register in advance online for ease of access. However, if you have been unable to, you can register on-site. To do so, you will have to complete a registration form once you arrive at the Pedestrian Screening Area (PSA), located below the Expo 2020 Dubai metro station, to generate your email confirmation for the event. Security will only give you access to the venue once you show this email confirmation which is generated by registering on the Al Burda website.

09 Can I attend the event virtually?

Some of the sessions will be broadcast online during the event. Please visit the program page for more information.

10 Is food available on site?

Yes. Food and beverages can be purchased from Trader’s Express Café, which is located right across Hall 1, North Concourse.

11 Are prayer rooms available?

Yes. Prayer rooms are located on the North Concourse, Ground Floor.
