Eddy is the co-founder & CEO of Anghami, the leading music streaming platform in the Middle East and North Africa which he launched in 2012 with his business partner Elie Habib. Since then, Anghami (meaning My Tunes in Arabic) has reached over 70 million users, generating close to 1 billion streams a month with a catalog of more than 57 million licensed Arabic and international tracks.

At Anghami, Maroun looks after the business development and strategic partnerships among music labels, telcos, advertisers and media. He holds a master in Private Law and an MBA in international business from KEDGE Business School France. He was selected as an Endeavor high-impact entrepreneur in 2013, a Lebanese Top Entrepreneur in 2012 and 2013, and listed in the Forbes’ Lebanon 100 leaders in 2018.
