Hani Asfour is the Dean of the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation. He is an MIT and Harvard-trained architect with over 22 years of experience as a practicing architect, designer, and educator. He has taught architecture and design in the US, Lebanon, and the UAE. Asfour was recently named one of the 45 most influential architects in the MENA region by Middle East Architect magazine, which also awarded him the 2017 prize for best cultural building.
