Ilze Loza is Assistant Professor at Zayed University, and is in her final stage of writing a dissertation at the Art Academy of Latvia on the “Influence of Western advertising design principles on advertising design in the Arabian Peninsula”. Her most recent publications evaluate cultural contexts in Europe's visual communication strategies. Since 2005, Loza has gained international experience in graphic design, visual communication, art direction, visual project management, design education, design thinking, research, and analysis for design. Over the last decade, she has worked as a Visual Communication lecturer in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
