Nada Abdallah is the Founder of Bilarabic Design Festival, Director of Meta.motif masterclasses, and Assistant Professor in Visual Communication at the College of Fine Arts & Design, University of Sharjah. She is a certified Arabic calligrapher, having trained with the Master Calligrapher Mosaad Khodeir ElBorsaidi in Cairo. Abdallah’s research and work focus on Arabic calligraphy and mainly the Kufic script. She is the winner of several design awards, and has held numerous exhibitions in Lebanon, UAE, Greece, Korea, Jordan, Egypt, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the US. Abdallah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from the American University of Sharjah, and an MFA from the Lebanese University.
